Scouting starts at our Beaver Colony with those aged between 6 and 8 years young. They meet on Monday evenings between 6.15pm and 7.30pm, please visit the Location page on where to find us. They make things, go on visits, play games and generally have a whole lot of fun. If you're interested in your child joining us please go to the contact us page.

The Leader and Assistants are all CRB checked and all have names from The Lion King

We also run a parent rota, where parents come in and help once or twice a term.

There is a range of badges and awards available to young people in the Beaver Scout Section.

Activity badges

Challenge badges

Gaining a challenge badge involves accomplishing a number of more ambitious tasks within the Colony or community. There are several challenge badges across a number of themes, from the physical and outdoorsy to challenges dealing with the local community or issues connected with the Scouting world. Core badges
